Questions, feedback or something that isn’t working?
Contact supportTell us what happened
Include your phone model, Android version, Beamello version, the steps you took and what you expected to happen. For a nearby-connection issue, mention whether both phones were using Beamello and which radios or permissions were unavailable.
Do not send passwords, device keys, private conversations or other people’s personal information. The contact form does not upload screenshots, logs or conversation history automatically.
Can’t find another phone?
- Keep both phones nearby with compatible Beamello versions and supported Google Play services.
- Check that Bluetooth and the local connection services requested by Android are available.
- Allow the requested Nearby and Location permissions, and enable the system Location switch. Ordinary Nearby discovery does not read GPS coordinates.
- Check that nearby visibility is enabled in Beamello. Appearing nearby requires confirmation that you are 18 or older.
- Follow any recovery message shown in the app. If a message says its send is unconfirmed, another phone may already have received it; check before sending it again.
Nearby messaging does not require an internet connection, but delivery still depends on compatible participating phones, permissions and available radio connections.
Which features are in Core Beta?
Core Beta focuses on Main Chat, Direct text conversations, Circles, delivery receipts, nearby message relay and privacy controls. Profile photos are optional in builds that offer them. Media attachments, voice notes, proximity/ranging and the separate same-Wi-Fi transport are experimental features and are not enabled in Core Beta.
If your version offers profile photos, set or remove yours in Me. Initials appear immediately; tiny photo previews arrive after message traffic when a connection is busy. If a photo has not loaded yet, you can keep chatting.
Local history and deletion
Beamello has no account-based cloud backup or history recovery. Please do not uninstall the app or erase its data as a troubleshooting step unless you intend to lose local history.
To intentionally remove this phone’s data, use Erase all local data in Settings. This does not remove messages already received by other people. Learn more in the privacy policy.
